From Seattle
If you are coming from Seattle there are several ways to get to Harstine Island.

Bremerton Ferry Route
You can take the Bremerton Ferry from Pier 52 in downtown Seattle.
Click Bremerton Ferrry Info for directions and departure times.

Once off the ferry go northeast on WASHINGTON AVE/WA-304 toward 2ND ST.
Turn LEFT onto BURWELL ST/WA-304. Turn LEFT onto N CALLOW AVE/WA-304. Continue to follow WA-304,  Turn LEFT onto S CAMBRIAN AVE/WA-304. Continue to follow WA-304. Merge onto WA-3 S toward TACOMA/SHELTON.

Stay on Highway 3 and go through Belfair and Allyn. After Allyn go another ten miles to the Jarrell Cove State Park sign (Pickering Road). Turn left on Pickering Road and go approximately 3.5 miles to the Harstine Island Bridge. Cross the bridge and you will come to a “T” intersection. Turn left and drive five miles to the gate at Hartstene Pointe.

The Tacoma Route

Take I-5 South to exit 132 to WA-16 (GIG HARBOR/BREMERTON).
Once on WA-16 follow the directions from Tacoma.

The Olympia Route

Take I-5 South to exit 104, US 101. (ABERDEEN/PORT ANGELES)
Once on US 101,follow the directions from Olympia.

From Tacoma
Take WA-16 to the Tacoma Narrows bridge. Continue on WA-16 to the Purdy exit and go about one  mile to the 1st stop light. Turn left at stop light and follow Highway 302 about five miles to the
Elgin-Clifton Rd sign. Turn right (still Highway 302) and continue around North Bay and to a "T" intersection. This is Highway 3. Turn left and go through Allyn then another ten miles to the Jarrell Cove State Park sign (Pickering Road). Turn left on Pickering Road and go approximately 3.5 miles to the Harstine Island Bridge. Cross the bridge and you will come to a "T" intersection. Turn left and drive 5 miles to the gate at Hartstene Pointe.

 From Olympia
Take  I-5 to exit 104 US 101 (ABERDEEN/PORT ANGELES). Continue six miles to the Shelton exit, which is still US 101. Go 11 miles to the Shelton exit, Highway 3. After the exit turn right. This is still Highway 3. Follow signs for Highway 3 through downtown Shelton and on toward Bremerton. Follow Highway 3 for approximately nine miles to the Jarrell Cove State Park sign (Pickering Road). Turn right on Pickering Road and go approximately 3.5 miles to the Harstine Island Bridge.

Cross the bridge and you will come to a “T” intersection. Turn left and drive five miles to the gate at Hartstene Pointe.

 From Bremerton
Get on Highway 3 going southwest to Gorst (approximately five miles). Stay on Highway 3 through Belfair and Allyn. After Allyn go another 10 miles to the Jarrell Cove State Park sign (Pickering Road). Turn left on Pickering Road and go approximately 3.5 miles to the Harstine Island Bridge.

Cross the bridge and you will come to a “T” intersection. Turn left and drive five miles to the gate at Hartstene Pointe.
